Ascoltiamo "Le Voci dal giardino"

Mi chiamo Mariapia Cunico e la mia vita è stata dedicata all'amore per il paesaggio. Amore che sicuramente trova le sue radici nei miei primi anni di vita in campagna e la luce dell’orto, il passare delle stagioni e il profumo delle vigne mi sono sicuramente rimasti dentro. Durante gli anni di Università a Venezia, la città di pietra mi ha lasciato una grande nostalgia per il verde e la natura, tanto da farmi vincere l’incarico per l’insegnamento di Arte dei Giardini. Gli anni universitari sono stati importanti perché mi hanno permesso sia di entrare in relazione con il mondo del paesaggismo italiano ed europeo sia di poter insegnare in molte Università straniere.

Ma il mio cuore resta legato al patrimonio e alla bellezza del giardino storico, con le sue fascinazioni e le sue luci, di qui gli incarichi per il restauro del giardino di Villa Badoer e quello del Parco del Levico Terme. Da ultimo i miei studi sul giardino storico di Villa veneta, su cui ho scritto il volume, Paesaggi di Villa, insieme a Giuseppe Rallo e a Margherita Azzi Visentini. Tra qualche mese uscirà il secondo, dedicato alle forme dell’acqua nel paesaggio di Villa.

In questi giorni ricchi di fioriture, vorrei poter condividere con chi di voi vorrà una diversa e più attenta prospettiva sul verde che ci circonda, come ho fatto per anni con i miei studenti.
La mia rubrica settimanale avrà delle schede botaniche, delle segnalazioni di eventi legati al mondo del giardino, consigli per buone letture, ma anche appunti di bellezza in riferimento a particolari fioriture nei giardini o nei davanzali della città.

Mi piacerebbe ricevere vostre lettere, potervi dare consigli sulla manutenzione delle piante oppure ricevere spunti per qualche argomento vi possa interessare
